Ghostbloggers.net: Scam Site

Medical Supply Depot

Scam

The website allowed me to post articles I have written. they would mark them up and sell them. I had installed a variety of articles in ghostbloggers.net and 3 of them have sold. On 5/19, I requested a payout.

Ghostbloggers have not paid and they have ignored all communication.

I have searched out the articles and the people who bought them. I have explained the situation. Ghostbloggers have now lost several possible clients because they felt keeping the $65 they owed me was more valuable.

I have also file a complaint with Internet Fraud.

Now I am writing this review.

Ghostbloggers.net Are Scammers

Do Not Use Them!

Enough said. I hope they are happy that they received the $65 for my articles. They are going to lose clients and writers once the word gets out.

  1. Greg – you are so right. They scammed me for $210. Plus, I can’t delete my articles that are still up for sale. I also filed a claim with the fBI several months ago, but have not heard anything.

    • Yes, I just had another article sell and I again requested a cash-out, but I doubt they will honor it. I have contacted some who have my articles online, and one who had a business article on Linkedin showed anger towards me. I explained that I didn’t get paid. He said I wasn’t honoring what a ghostblogger is all about. Freelancing doesn’t mean we work for free.

  2. That guy is a thief! Countless people were cheated by him, and he’s STILL posting new articles from unsuspecting and hopeful writers and not paying. His name is Marcos Moralez, and he’s a well-known award-winning website designer (supposedly). He’s on LinkedIn and brags about all of his wonderful achievements. All of it is likely a lie after knowing what we know about him. I would avoid dealing with that guy at all costs if I needed a website or anything else. His name is going to be plastered all over the Internet for fraud and thievery. Anyone looking up reviews on Marcos Moralez website designer will find all of this negative information. Is it worth it Marcos Moralez? Pay those writers, release their articles and sell or close Ghostbloggers.net! It could have been a good business for you if you were an honest person. http://www.linkedin.com/in/marcosmoralez http://www.virtualassistantassistant.com/ghostbloggers

    • Thank you much for supplying this information. I still have articles on his website and I put in for another payoff, but again…nothing. I filed with ICP (i believe that is the name), but I haven’t heard anything. This creep needs to be in prison. He has stolen both from the writers, and also from clients.

I would suggest that everyone use Copyscape and find your articles and promptly ask whoever has them to remove them. Explain that you have not been paid. I did this with one person who had the gall to get angry with me. Freelancing does not mean working for free.

  3. I sold two articles on there and haven’t received payment. What can we do to get this guy? I’ve emailed him several times and, of course, there is never any reply. I get the impression this guy is a slithering snake of a man who loves to broadcast his many artificial successes, no doubt all of which are a scam and at other people’s expense. Stick to Constant-Content. While on the subject, does anyone know any good alternatives to CC? It’s a shame Ghostbloggers isn’t being run by someone with the balls and courage to make a success out of it through honorable means but rather by this shadowy guttersnipe, as it seems as if it could have been a very good platform for writers and buyers.

    • You are right Greg…he is a snake in the grass. I filed a complaint through the internet fraud bureau and all of you should too. Maybe even link them to this post. If they get enough complaints, maybe they will shut him down.

As for other content platforms, I will post today on other writing platforms a person can use. Thank you for visiting Greg, and have a good day.

  5. Thanks for the feedback. I almost was on signup page.

    Until i read your review.

Also, why do you have such a horrible website ? It’s so hard to get into real content

    • I am glad this helped you. I apologize you are not able to find material on my website. Many other people do not have issues. If you are using mobile, I may need to do some work on it.

As for your other request, I will study that site and give a review.

I suggest checking out Upwork. It has been great for me.

  6. I requested a cash-out of $117 8 weeks ago and have not received it. Like many others, I’ve emailed and used the site’s Contact Us form to no avail. I’ve received payments from Ghostbloggers in the past so not sure what the issue is now – it appears to have started (non-payment) about May this year.

I got this info about the site:

https://www.openprovider.com/ appears to be their domain name host so there’s the possibility of contacting them and advising them about the problems and maybe they will cancel the domain?

I checked the website of the Registrant (person who registered the domain name ghostbloggers.net) – patrick.kestens@duolim.be – and this is an injection moulding website/business! Dead end.

The site admin – Davy Kestens – has an email of “hello@davykestens.be” but, shock horror, the davykestens.be website is “Down for maintenance”! Another dead end.

Apart from your site, I have not found a reference about Marcos Moralez, yet.

I find it suspicious that the site is allegedly based in Belgium but advertises it’s writers as US-based…I live in the UK.

I’m looking into complaining to Belgian authorities as on a criminal front Ghostbloggers has committed digital property theft and civilly they have breached their contracts with writers.

I’m pretty tenacious but not sure if I’ll ever get to the bottom of this. Although, Belgium is not that far from the UK so maybe I should go knock on the door of the domain registrant?!! Joking!

    • Maybe you should go knock on their door.

This company is getting away with theft and IC3 seems to not want to do anything about it.

Hopefully people will stay clear of Ghost Thieves INC.

  7. Visit whois.com. Type in the URL. Select the option that allows you to see which other sites are owned by the registrar = result

  8. Another giveaway being that Davy Kestens, a co-owner of Ghostbloggers, is clearly mentioned at the bottom of every page of the site I linked previously
